Printing Tips for Full Color Print

Avoid large blocks of color. Improve digital print results by replacing large blocks of color with a texture to avoid a streaky appearance.

Allow for bleed. If your project includes images that bleed ensure that you allow space for trimming.

Avoid clipping paths. Using clipping paths as an overlay produces unpredictable results. This will sometimes produce a slightly shaded box that will not show up in the proofing stage but will show up in print.

Always provide a high-quality PDF. This gives your printer something to refer to when opening your native file and ensures that you are both communicating on the same level.
